by Dr. Tawfik Hamid
Price: $22.00
Paperback
More than twenty years ago, Tawfik Hamid was recruited by Jamaa Islamiya--an Islamic terrorist group led by Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri, currently the second-in-command of Al-Qaeda. After adopting the ideology of violent jihad for a period of time, Dr. Hamid recognized the threat of radical Islam and rejected Islamist distortions of the religion. He then pursued a path of reformation within Islam, writing new interpretations of key religious texts and sharing his message in mosques.
With Inside Jihad, Hamid reveals his insights about Islamic terrorism. As a medical doctor and psychologist, he helps readers understand the jihadist mind by leading them through his personal story. He explains the meaning of "jihad" and the role that sex, petrodollars, and the hijab play in the proliferation of radical Islam.
Hamid also highlights the myths and misconceptions that saturate modern discussions of Islamic terrorism. He explains the mistakes Westerners have made in confronting Islamism and suggests strategies for defeating it. Critically, Hamid shares his plan for Islamic reformation--a key component in solving the problem of radical Islam.

Sane in Damascus
by Amnon Sharon
Price: $14.95
Hardback
With the recent challenges on Israel's Northern border and the abduction of three IDF soldiers in less than two weeks, no other person knows more about what goes through the mind of an Israeli POW than Amnon Sharon. Ambushed and captured during the Yom Kippur war, Sharon spent eight months under the most severe physical and mental tortures in a Syrian prison cell. "Each time the door opened, my body shook in fear, for I did not know in what condition I would return to when I came back to my cell," Sharon accounts in his book Sane in Damacus.
This Hebrew bestseller was translated and published by Gefen Publishing in June of 2006. There is no other book out there that describes that psychological mindset and the physical undertaking of an Israeli POW. Sharon had no training to deal with a POW situation. All he had in order to survive was the power of prayer and faith.
Unity Coalition of Israel is proud to offer this one of a kind book at a 10% off the retail price.
